RFP Categories
SingularityNET is regularly seeking proposals for specific challenges designed to promote and speed up ground-breaking work in decentralized beneficial and benevolent Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) research and development via our OpenCog Hyperon architecture.
Completed RFP'sSingularityNET is a founding member of the Artificial Superintelligence Alliance, the largest open-sourced, independent entity in AI research and development. The alliance, consisting of SingularityNET, Fetch, Ocean Protocol, and CUDOS, aims to accelerate the advancement of decentralized AGI and, ultimately, Artificial Superintelligence (ASI).
We have designed a highly specific roadmap of tasks we believe wi lead to AGI and ASI. We have identified certain of these tasks that you could help complete, get paid for while doing so, and be a part of the history of AGI/ASI development.
Our current round of RFPs is specifically targeted to help us further develop the Hyperon architecture. It is quite diverse and spans the entire technical stack from low-level hardware designs to high-level SOTA AI algorithms.

We are rethinking our design for voting weights and Community Engagement Scores, based on a wide range of parameters.
Our goal is to empower the community to identify and prioritize what is most important and urgent to develop. This approach aligns with the idea of increasing value by separating the stages of ideation, RFP development, and RFP execution. We focus first on identifying the most critical objectives before determining who is best suited to bring these plans to life. Unlike the single-party approach of Deep Funding Rounds, the RFP process enables broader collaboration, engaging diverse contributors throughout the project lifecycle.
The complete tooling for the ‘RFP Creation Process’ is not yet fully available online. This is partly due to the challenge of defining priorities across a comprehensive pipeline of desired features. However, this is also intentional. By working ‘offline’ and adopting a pragmatic, iterative approach, we can better understand what works, identify areas requiring more attention, and reduce the risk of over-engineering. The first stage in this process, the ideation phase, is currently under development. Subsequent steps -such as outlining an RFP and selecting the best team to define it in detail- will remain in early stages until we gain more experience with the process and a clearer understanding of the volume and type of ideas we can expect. Our first community-driven project dates back to 2023. Though it took time to materialize into a formal RFP (Deep Funding Knowledge Graph), The ensuing project is now nearing completion. We look forward to seeing many more community-led initiatives emerge, bringing innovative and urgent projects -across a wide variety of topics and application domains- to the Decentralized AI platform.

These RFPs are developed by members of the Deep Funding Circle to strengthen and expand the program through innovative tools and initiatives. Examples include RFPs for our Reputation Platform, tools for Voting and ID management, the creation of Community Hubs, and other forward-looking projects.
Deep Funding is a dynamic, community-driven program designed to grow and evolve with the contributions of its members. Our organization comprises a globally diverse network of passionate part-time contributors who collaborate under equal conditions, regardless of location, experience, or expertise. Innovation lies at the heart of Deep Funding. As part of our experimental approach, we periodically issue RFPs to develop or enhance tools and initiatives critical to the program. These may include creating new solutions, refining existing ones, or addressing specific needs that go beyond the core responsibilities of the circles. RFPs are particularly valuable when specialized expertise, dedicated full-time resources, or support within a defined timeframe is required. They also allow us to further decentralize our efforts, empowering the community to take a more active role in shaping the future of Deep Funding
